What Your Framer Will Do


Other things your framer does which are included in the cost-per-square-foot price that you have agreed upon:

 

Install exterior doors and windows.

  

Install sheathing. Here, waferboard is used.

Apply housewrap moisture barrier.

Treated lumber (green plate) is used where wood touches concrete.

Framer has installed metal strips (brick ties) and framed “brick pocket†just above sheathing.
