I love to build.  I’ve been building since I earned my first state contractor’s license, twenty-two years ago.  My experience has been primarily with single-family houses.  But I’ve also built a nine thousand square foot commercial building and some multi-family units.

 

 

I also enjoy helping friends with their own building projects.  I’m always glad to offer advice or help them find good contractors to work with.  That’s how I got the idea for this website.

I hope you’ll use this site to build a great house for yourself.  Yes, you can do it.  By using this website, you’ll know a lot more about building a house than I did when I built my first one.

I knew next to nothing about building.  I got advice from others when I could, but I learned about building primarily just by doing it.

Every page has a section for you to offer comments.  I hope you’ll be generous in posting your thoughts and sharing them with me and others.

Don’t forget to use the “Ask A Question” feature.  I’ll try to give you a personally written answer as promptly as I can.
